Queen of Peace offers a yearly Confirmation preparation program for our high school youth, with the celebration of the Sacrament held during the Easter Season with our Bishop or Archbishop presiding at the Confirmation Mass.
Here at Queen of Peace we emphasize that Confirmation is not a graduation but it is a commencement. Our faith journey is never ending. Teens who receive the Sacrament of Confirmation take the next step of their journey to serve God much like the disciples in the Book of Acts. Youth are the future and hope of our church, but, more important, they are the young church of today. Teens are expected to share their gifts and live out the Gospel through the Holy Spirit.

What are the Confirmation Process Requirements? We offer a two-year Confirmation program. The first year of preparation we ask that the youth be involved in our Youth Ministry opportunities (See our youth ministry page). Our second year is a more intense study of what it means to be fully initiated into the Church, with specialized Confirmation classes, retreats, service opportunities, home studies, WCFF participation, prayer experiences, and other opportunities to enhance their faith journey and prepare for this Sacrament.
